Hello! I'm Afueth Thomas, a Systems Engineer at Malayala Manorama Co Pvt Ltd. I work at the intersection of software development and infrastructure—building reliable backend services, automating operational workflows, and shipping production-ready systems that are stable, secure, and maintainable.

On the development side, I primarily build services in Python using frameworks like Django, FastAPI, and Flask, and design APIs for integrations across different internal systems and third-party platforms. I work with REST and SOAP interfaces and focus on clean service design, good error handling, and performance-friendly implementations.

In production environments, I handle automation and reliability work—monitoring and supporting scheduled jobs on Windows servers, troubleshooting interface failures, and maintaining secure file transfer workflows using FTP/SFTP/FTPS with proper logging and reporting. I’ve worked on cloud integrations using Google Cloud and Vertex AI, and I’m comfortable with CI/CD practices using Jenkins.

I enjoy building solutions that reduce manual effort and make systems run smoothly—whether it’s automation scripts, microservice-style components, or end-to-end integrations. My goal is always the same: keep the product experience clean for users and keep the infrastructure predictable and resilient for teams.
